Throne "Range"

Below is a picture of my current predicament. Circled in red is where the throne is. Where the mouse is at the top are 2 people cut off from the city, plus deposits that I need to get to.

What's the reasoning to limiting throne range? Is there any way around this currently, apart from moving the throne? I don't think my playthrough can survive doing that.

Maybe make the range unlimited, or allow us to create a second throne...and call it a vacation throne?

There is no range, the throne is essential for pathing. An area must have a clear path to the throne, it doesn't matter how long it is though. If a dude is in an area that has no path to the throne, he can not find anything. So it's a matter of not building in people when you build houses and such. They must have an opening.

At the top around where the curser is, there's a mountain opening that has a clear path back. I also have work for mountain clearing setup just to the right where it says there's no path for a worker, even though there is.

I'll try to make the passage wider and see if that works.

Reloading the game seems to have fixed it.
