But what about the one where you can do some phishing to get the password before you go into the mission? You can find the same password on a data node during the mission, but the whole point of
phishing is so that you can skip finding the password on that node.

Likewise the safe path through the acqui server seems to just be contained in the emails and not the databits?

I think the lack of feedback is what got me. I hit enter on too short of passwords, and there was no indication for what the correct
behavior was. I thought I missed a tutorial or manual that would give me the correct password. A lot of it hinged on me typing Data and not noticing I could have typed anything.

Here's a couple of ideas

you've accepted (and I assume forfeit the 30 you paid to accept it)? One of the very first challenges I accepted was to open two vault nodes with the passwords and it's just been sitting there clogging up
a slot for quite some time now. Since I accepted it I found one and only one passworded data node (not counting the ones in the virtual practice servers). Obviously I can't complete the challenge if

I started this up after listening to waypoint radio mentioning this game. I saw it ask for a username, so I typed in Data, as the name was displayed above. and then I couldn't guess the password. I
even restarted and looked up the password here. I had no idea I just needed to key mash to get in. This had me stuck for a good ten minutes. Figured I would drop this feedback since I was really about to

The vault in the golem mission is actually pretty easy to crack without Rainbow because there is a data node right nearby that you can get the password

's a huge deal but it does pull me out of the immersion a bit when I have to alt+tab away from my cool hacker interface to look at a Steam screenshot or a txt file to check a password or something like
that.
