It's a decent singleplayer game in my humble experience, as I find the hobo survival vibe of constantly traveling pretty charming. Hopefully the studio's future plans to improve the game itself will give it a second chance.
Okey thanks for responding
On the store page it is tagged as Multiplayer, have those plans, not to add in co-op changed, or its that tag just wrong (ik those are just added by players)?
did you guys experiment with possibility for a coop?
I mean - I understand the game was designed solo
I simply wonder if you tried to do coop or totaly ignored it?
Many games started solo - look at Dont Starve
when people asked about coop - developers responded exactly like you "the game was designed with solo experience in mind"
later they started working on a coop version to see if they could pull it off and it turned out to be a HUGE success
look at the Forest or Green Hell - they also started as solo survival games but developers decided to try and successfuly add coop and it truly boosted interest in the game along with sales
and coop in such games sales really really well
I mean just look at this game with quite a similar concept - the game became a massive hit with its coop gameplay

I'm playing Raft with my friend, after we get done with the story mode, we would like to find another game with a similar experience and Windbound would be my suggestion if it had a co-op mode.
you can check out this list - I found it once and there are some neat survival games with coop here
