Your issue is Windows 7
The min requirement is Windows 8
We are very sorry! This is a known issue (also outlined in our FAQ).
It is a Unity bug and we will do our best to fix it in the first patch. Currently, the Steam page should not list Windows 7 as a supported OS. We had to remove it from there when we found the issue.
No excuse for using Win 7 in 2020.
Was a good OS, but time to move on.
I bought the game, opened a beer, game crashed and now I have to wait until the patch arrives. I hope it does soon, but if it doesn't, I'll still keep the game until upgrading to Win 10.
Fair enough :)
Well IMHO maybe no excuse, but 50% of people still use WIN7 as OS, so I would expect that the game could be made on Win7 as well - it means aprox. 50% more customers...IMHO :-)
It's a person's choice to continue to use an outdated OS.
But to expect things to continue to work on said OS is not a good idea.
Yep, win 7 users are the minority. Not worth the effort anymore to try and get the latest software and games to run on it.
I've enjoyed the last game and I want to give the devs my money.
They found a bug at the end, of an OS that is no longer supported.
I think all devs from now on should not even bother list win 7 as compatible.
Want to give devs your money, upgrade.
