Anyone totally stuck in the water treatment plant?

Each numeroted plate control a "zone" of four squares (in the picture, those the same color as the plate). They make the platform on them switching on and off in a counter clockwise order.

IIRC there's at least another plate around.

Ahh I see. Thanks. :)

I wasted almost 1 hour of searching and "fighting" against walls. How the hell did you come to the right side of this level? I finshed the left side and been stuck before a door which is needing a rusted key, and for the right side i have to search for a lever in case of a wheel to lower the water. But where is this stupid thing?
In the level above i'm stucked, too, because i'm missing a battery.

No way you can have "finished the left side" if you need that key.
Anyway, it's in the room with the two manglers, south-western room.

Once you get that key, the rest of the mangler room is optional.

The valve handle is farther in the same side.

I'm going to guess "the level above" is hydroponics.
One battery is in the pusher puzzle, the other near the fireball emitter, both of those are in the seed vault aisle part.

The left side "riddle" was a load last save mistake. The key was still in the chest the whole time rofl, facepalm.......

Now i'm stuck at the exact same spot as the described above. Will read into it. Thx for the clues with the battery, even if i don't know what is meant by the fireball emitter. Or to be precise i see afireball emitter but i don't know how to get there. But at first i will solve the water level.

Edit: OMG, i'm sooo stupid. Thx a lot for the hint without spoiling the solution, this way i was able to focus around the room with the pit near the fireball emitter. Sometimes you have to think one more room away ;)

I managed it to the rusty key and now am struggling with the door that closes again so that the white bolt gets through.
I cannot find - even after 1 hr of try&error - a plate constellation where I can
a) push/hit the door opening button again and
b) then run to the bolt starter plate

HELP !

You have to do that from the part where the arrow is in that image.

Position yourself facing the green switch, hit it and then quickly go around (going south, then east, don't try to get over the gap) to get to the button you need to push.

As usual with tight timing puzzle sections, time-stop feature does help, and so does not turning needlessly (just strafe)

Yeah, without the timestop function i never ever would have solved half of the puzzles. Really great mechanic for this kind of game. I really wanna play Grimrock with this feature again on it's highest difficulty :)
