Breeders of the Nephelym: Alpha

About selling EA at Patreon.
I mean in general, but I couldnt find better place to ask.
Patreon is $ per a period. So if membership says that you will get the game for like $5 per month, that means I'll keep getting the updates versions after that period passes, or need to pay $5 again?

I assume $5/month means $5/month, and if you stop paying you'll no longer get access to the posts with links to the testing builds.

You have to keep paying to keep getting the updates. It is a monthly subscription to get the updates before steam as they are done.

BUt there are sometimes more options. Something like "pay only 1 Month 15$ or more and you can keep the game".

Not on his patreon, did you even look at the patreon page to see what you get? He does have different levels of patreon and each on gives more benefits but none of them permanently give you updates if you stop supporting.

The creator's Patreon/Subscribestar works as follows:

While it is heavily appreciated that one continues to help support the creator financially, you are able to pay once and gain the codes for the Steam Builds.
At least until he changes them, but he does not feel the need to change them on a frequent basis.
This also goes with the Creator Code.

However, unsubbing from his two sources will prevent you from gaining access to any new codes and new non-Steam versions of the game outside of the public builds.

You'll pay on a monthly basis but you'll still get builds within the month that you are subscribed to. If the creator puts out two new backer builds within the same month, you'll be able to access those.

Also the lowest but most frequently updated tier is the $2 tier.
Bear in mind, my intention with this topic was not to cause problems with this particular project. Just a doubt that I have with all these game developers that put their projects on Patreon.
Unfortune for me, to keep paying $5, $10, or $25, etc, just for a chance that within that month I'll get some significant update in the product, is not suitable. With my currency getting weaker and weaker every day, plus taxes.
I understand patience and let the creation process flow without over pressure. But I prefer to pay one value, and get everything is offered now till its completion. And pehaps pay for some extras for support reasons (nothing significant, I hope).

If this topic became negative towards this project, it can be deleted

You could pay annually. Doing that with the $2 tier will get you a whole year with monthly updates for like $20.
