Well, not entirely correct. She IS the large flower. It's unlikely that Blossom would be upgradeable, since that would mean, eventually, players would have vast fields of Ferns.

feed her 30 times for to upgrade her to phase 2 and the another 100 times to phase 3 (i think 100 times is a bit much compared to the benefit you get while feeding her)

you get a bit of money when feeding her. 150 i guess, but the main goal is to upgrade fern. And i think the result is pretty nice.

But feeding her even with (ingame) cheats is a bit time consuming. To be honest i used a cheat table for that.

Ok, I've just fed Fern 30 times and she changed, so yea phase 2 Fern is available for steam version.

Phase 3 is available to Steam users, also. Blossom takes over duties for Mom since Fern is no longer mobile once she reaches phase 3.
