Game won't start

When I hit play the game opens like its going to start but it stays as a black screen and i have to enter task manager to get out of the game...

guess I should have read through more of the discussions than just the front page before downloading this. Oh well.

Oddly enough, my husband dl'ed it on his laptop and it works fine. Tried again on mine, and still get the black screen....

I have the same problem, in F95 i saw a red warning about DirectX, to play we must have only DX11, if you doesn't have dx11, game won't start further that black screen

Had the same Problem. Fixed it just by downloading dll files (about 93) and putting them all in game folder. Works by the way for most games which have 0xc00007b error

You Download this http://uploaded.net/file/cegcoumr and then you put all files in the game folder SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Breeders of the Nephelym Alpha

tried it, did not work. says that game waited too long for render thread (120.00-120.01 seconds)
