They are a scumbag, that's no question. But the guy got away with it and released this poor version of Breeding Season. His game barely has any story and the world if mostly empty with the game mechanics and UI barely even worked on. The only thing this game has going for it is simply it's 3D enviroment and it's "capture" minigame which even then is just something copied off of Breeding Season.
In that sense Spurple kinda did everybody a favor and saved them from throwing even more money at an already dead game. They just brought in the tombstone so that we didn't continue beating a horse we didn't know was already dead.
