Skipping quests

Does anyone knows all the quest that can be skippable without noticing? Yesterday i had to start a new game from chapter 3 to 0 because i managed to complete the second division before completing the cop/sensei path so it didn't gave me the option to work as anything later on, are there more missions that you may skip and don't notice? I would like to explore all the content.

You can skip a lot of things, I'm guessing. I never got the hospitalization part despite beating the game and doing every visible sidequest. I think there wasn't enough time to fill up Mick's training bar before I hit the point of no return or whatever the trigger was supposed to be. I wish I had known this prior to reaching that point but at least I kept backup saves.

Same here, the achievement guide says

"in Chapter 2, when you almost maxed the workbar at police or gym, when you take a rest, there''s a chance your mom will call you and ask you for more meds, after some going back and forth to Apu and her, she will be unconcious.."

in one play I Never picked up K's badge, met juliet, maxed rep with any employer, maxed the gym, maxed the police, went to meet casey about the pizza, met tyler, picked up a shell, ( I also never let the candies run out so mom didnt get sick at all.. i am not positive it's related but every time her chain advanced to the earplugs and beyond was when I let candy run out.) , didn't fight apu's brother, never went to get doughnuts until chapter 3.

It was my 3rd play-through and I was intentionally trying to break the story. The only part that was really forced was the chip scanning device... and fighting through the three leagues.

P.S. the part where K's badge starts beeping still happened even though i did not have the badge.
