How do stat decreasing moves work ?
Hi, I'm wondering about these moves because I find them to be a weird game design.

Let's say I have 20 agility and want to use the kick that requires 1 point of agility to be equiped.

Will the effective stat in the fight be 19 or 20 ? Do I need to be conservative with such moves or can I go all in without fear for my combat capacity ?

The stat decreasing moves work more like mana. It doesn't actually decrease the skill.

If you have 25 agility, you have 25 agility mana as well, you do have to train agility to get mana back but thats pretty much it. It's a separate value.

Your stat wont decrease. It's just that you'll have to train to recover your "stat energy" before you can farm this stat again. Try to not equip more than one or two "stat decreasing move" because if you fight for 5 rounds, you'll loose 10 units of your "stat energy" and it means a long training to recover it (and it's worst if you do multiple fights in a row before your next training...)

Are you talking about the tonus mechanic? It uses one point that you replenish from working out, but it doesn't take away your core stats.

His question is about the values that are used for calculating numbers in combat: if your strength goes down for this reason, is your damage based in the "permanent stat" or in the "temporal one"?
