Final Boss Stat Distribution? (Spoilers)
Hello,

I assume I am at a point where the game is almost over. I went through fights 1, 2 and 3 in the Upper City. Then I also beat the first 2 robots (the ones with lots of stamina and strength respectively) but I am not sure I understand how to proceed against the robot with lots of agility.

I played the game as an AGI build myself, I currently have around 10 STR, 60 AGI and 27 STA. Can someone recommend me a fighting school and the distribution of the stats I have in order to beat the robot with a ton of agility?

Thanks!

Hm, that's a tough one. Just how many actions do you get per round? Maybe you can whittle the robot down enough with damage reflection on dodge, reducing its actions and a lot of energy efficient hits. I assume you'll need some sort of energy restoration too.
It might also be possible to exhaust the robot in this stage. Make it pay extra energy on hits and doges. I think i remember it does have a battery skill but that only triggers when it's K.O.'d no?

Sorry, I am not sure if I understand. Are you saying I should use a STA build and try to make him lose energy or should I go with an AGI build and just try to dodge all the hits until the robot is out of energy? I feel like I am missing an important point since I still haven't been able to beat the game.

I didn't find the proper AGI approach to handle the 3rd robot stage, so I've had to go with the STR\END boxer build.

Split your stats mostly between STR an END. No need for very high AGI.

Take the STR school that deals with dodges.

For attacks take 2 hits that have bonus to hit on a dodging opponent and 2 actions that improve the accuracy of your next hit. This should let your punches connect reasonably often.

For defence - take all 3 skills that return 60% of damage back to your opponent. You should have more HP that your opponent at this stage, so this should keep both of your health draining at about the same rate.

For modifiers - take everything that helps you to deal with dodges.

Distributing my points mostly between STR and STA has worked very well -and choosing the STR school focused on dealing with dodges as well- I think the school that you're supposed to choose is called "Flycatcher" or something along those lines if anyone is curious.

Thank you so much!

It took me a few tries, I beat it very easily on the third try by doing a high agi very low str build just attacking him with the strength ability Sucker Punch (Costs 4 energy with the strength value I used). The robot would use all of its initiative trying to dodge sucker punch draining his energy fast and taking occasional hits. I used the green school that has something about being made for long fights.

First off I'd spoiler/black out your main post, OP.

My main game was mostly and End build with some Agi stuff mixed in.

2nd ....The third version of the boss is definitely the hardest but I was able to beat it twice consistently with Trapper style (Green) suckerpunch(Red)/sneaky punch (Green)/energy recovery (I used the green one) or some versions of this....with stats around 18str/24agi/33end or something similar.

Utility buffs that help alot are the Red style utility that makes dodged attacks cost 60% less energy and the green style health drain. Rest can be a mix of defence but I suggest getting the green "no kicking" as his kicks are much worse than the small punches.

With this the boss loses alot of initiative dodging alot. Your agi needs to at least give you 9/10 initiative so you have a chance to make him dodge more IMO. Also use a resting option/energy recovery as needed and even fill up the entire attack line with energy recovery for a round as needed.

Good luck!

My stats:

STR = 11, 190 HP
AGI = 25 for 10 initiatives
STA = 40, 400 Stamina
Didn't modify it at all during any of the fight

Style:
Torturer for the 1st 2 phases (STR, STA)
Trapper for the last phase (AGI)

Beaten them pretty easy.
For the 1st phase, I just used Hadouken and as many Attack Modifier as possible to kill him ASAP. I dealt close to 100 damage per hit with this strat.

For the 2nd phase, I used, I forgot the name, but the punch that "deals consistent damage" and 1 "restore health" to do chip damage while I gain health little by little until he dies. nothing special, just battle of endurance.

For the 3rd phase, I used "enemy use double initiative to dodge" and "I restore 1 initiative if enemy dodges" Modifier with basic low energy attacks to deal chip damage until he dies. His damage is low, he'll always run out of initaitive and stamina, so eventually your attack will start hitting. also, fights get easier the longer it goes on since the robot will start getting "Error" prompt

Use double inhale (restore Stamina) when necessary
