He has a cheapish dodge (cost 2) and three 5 damage 4 cost attacks. His basic fighting style gives him only moderate stamina regen.
Because I had avoided levelling strength my dodge still costs 1 and is affordable all fight long in all slots (this may not be the case for you). My high kick is 6-4 and my blue fighting stance (the same would be true of green) provides more stamina regeneration.
I stick with that same loadout for two rounds, before my stamina gets low, when I take out one high kick, having built up a sizeable lead:

It's worth noting that his own stamina expenditure has forced him to swap out some of his defences, so if I'd had more stamina issues I could have played light in round two (two or three attacks set to rest and just zero or one high kicks left in play) to take advantage at this point - but this wasn't necessary with the build in play.

For example, for endgame AGI build 12STR, 40AGI, 30END is more than enough
also take a look at what school the opponents are using. I've found each school has its counter school that can beat it
