Poorly scaling stats - Losing fights
I am early in the game, making my way through Silver League, but I'm losing fights to people I have double the stats of. How do I raise my energy? I have double all of Mad Mike's stats (My most recent fight), and he just pummels me until I run out of energy. I've tried removing/rotating abilities per round to recover but nothing works.

If farming and training stats has no adverse affect on outcome, what is the point?

I feel its unbalanced right now. Doesnt matter what we do, we lack energy to keep the fight in our side.

use less defences, they drain your energy faster then attacks, because they all pull energy each time your attacked

Here's an example of a mad Mike loadout:

He has a cheapish dodge (cost 2) and three 5 damage 4 cost attacks. His basic fighting style gives him only moderate stamina regen.

Because I had avoided levelling strength my dodge still costs 1 and is affordable all fight long in all slots (this may not be the case for you). My high kick is 6-4 and my blue fighting stance (the same would be true of green) provides more stamina regeneration.

I stick with that same loadout for two rounds, before my stamina gets low, when I take out one high kick, having built up a sizeable lead:

It's worth noting that his own stamina expenditure has forced him to swap out some of his defences, so if I'd had more stamina issues I could have played light in round two (two or three attacks set to rest and just zero or one high kicks left in play) to take advantage at this point - but this wasn't necessary with the build in play.

Mike goes down before the end of the round:

Best ratio for stats, IMHO, is 3:2:1, for main stat:endurance:other stat, or even 3:3:1(for stamina builds, swap endurance and agility). Don't overtrain strength for agility and endurance builds.
For example, for endgame AGI build 12STR, 40AGI, 30END is more than enough

I always try to use skills that help draining the opponents stamina early on

also take a look at what school the opponents are using. I've found each school has its counter school that can beat it
