What to do with Adriana's old chip?

This one you got after your mother in hospital quest. Looks like an incomplete quest. Asked Emmit and Lil Bobo about it - they said that they know nothing about it. Maybe missed something? Or it's a cut content/thing for future DLC?
Any ideas?

Same here, been waiting for a quest where in it another character like Casey would tell me something. Give me a heads up if you find something!

I would also like to know. I finished the game, no quests open. I still don't know if you can use the chip somewhere, Even after you get a some device that should help with that i could not find a use.

Where did you find this chip?

Its in the Head of your Mother, you get it after the Hospital bill is paid and she got her surgery. You can ask some people about it but no one knows how to deal with this thing. Its an old version of a GPP chip as far as i know from the game.

One person gives a response that indicates they may know more, but that plot thread doesn't seem pullable.

Spoiler?: when you show it to Emmit the "dammit" implies he put the chip there, but I don't think it was proven during the game other than a scene showing he was in chaoots with the villain.

Yup I've been wondering too.
Showed it to Emmit and said he didn't want to talk about it.
Showed it to Bobo Jr, can't remember what he said but it didn't add anything of matter.

Ok i just watched the end again in some stream and found the answer about the chip. For some reason i missed it when i finished the game.

The Cat says at the end that he put the Chip in your Mothers Head to spy on us and keep an eye on the player.

You can not really do anything with the chip but after i know this it does not feel any longer like i missed some quest.

The story is blatantly unfinished. A lot of plot threads either never resolved or dumped on you in the end.
