I finished the game, I have a question about the ending and future plans.

First off, I loved the game and what you did with the stats compared to the first game. Everything just feels better with the addition of tonus and initiative, accuracy no longer existing, I think, and the lack of stat decay.

Potential spoilers are below.


Do any plans exist to work on content updates, specifically involving the intergalactic tournament? is that going to be for punch club 3? or was the "to be continued" also a reference to all the great movies that never got their planned sequel?
Because if it was the last one, bravo, I'm going to go cry in a corner /s

Is there any way to continue fighting after you beat the game or is the endgame as pointless as Punch Club 1?

As far as I can tell, no you can't keep fighting after the ending. Loading my most recent save just brings me back to the final area, which you can't leave unlike punch club 1.

You can manually export your save file before you beat Jax, although the fighters in the pro league first division are not that strong when compared to the final boss(es) so not much point to do that

If you want to go back and beat up the final guys you can always manually load an Autosave right as you get into the machine

Of course. Shame though, I am enjoying the game, I will slow down my progression and enjoy the grind if that's the case.

this game could really use a tournament mode where you can just fight. in the final league I had two fights in a row where I just won by default, poisoned guy and robot guy. . . really seems to not be enough fights

Yeah, definitely needs more fights. I liked the movie making fights in punch club 1 as it was fun to run the gauntlet. Wish we got something like that, or heck just make it so we can choose to fight people in any division after we beat jax.
