How do you win the Silver's League?

As it stands, I'm #1 in the rankings with 2208 GPP, second rank is Aesop with 1841 GPP, I've fought him at least 6 times with an easy victory yet I never get the Win the Silver's League progress, and I need that to progress into Become a trainer. Talking to Silver neither gives me the option to join the league (hence why I assume I'm already part of it) nor acknowledgment that I've already won.

Have I stumbled upon a bug of some kind, or have I missed something super obvious?

Nothing yet, I'm just hoping something will happen to trigger the victory condition at this point. I *am* progressing the Police Officer questline though...

Yeah, When you complete the police, until that problem is solved we cannot continue progressing, from what I have read this is happening to a lot of people

I think something was off with that file, because I didn't get some achivements until much later (I got Your First Fight just now in a new playthrough, but I already had Fighting is Cool (win 10 times) and Fight for Life (win 25 times)). I'll reply again when I get to #1 spot again if I can continue or not.

Did you skip a fight by any chance? when I was doing the part where you study the laws I ended up getting enough GPP to skip the ruth fight and end up fighting the rank above. I lost all the fights on purpose till i got to fight Ruth again and it triggerd a cutscene. After that fight i got another Cutscene that I never got all the way till rank 1. Am trying now to see if that will allow me to Win the silver league.

Why yes that did happen, Ruth is actually one of the people I never got to fight.

Did you go visit Adrian in the club at night? You may need to do that to trigger the questline where you need to beat him.

So after i lowerd my GPP enough to fight Ruth it then triggerd the cutscene, after that i made sure to fight every fighter which triggerd all the missing cutscenes i needed to beat the silver league and continue the story.

Pretty big oversight by a studio with supposedly dozens of people (they said it's <50 people). Like no1 thought or tested what if someone's GPP is too high and ruth gets skipped and they can't win the silver league cuz it's a condition to beat ruth first to get the other cutscenes
