Yes i fully agree with you, the Xbox one controller ( i do have the Razer Wolverine Ultimate version) is the best controller in many ways, apart from triggers... they do suck badly in racing games, i reckon they have less travel then the good old xbox 360 controller has.
That means for Motogp 20 i use the Xbox 360 controller (which triggers are WAY better) and i also use this => http://kalma.kapsi.fi/rldurazno/
This is a brilliant piece of software ;) who ever made this should be rewarded someway.
Maybe it takes some time to fully understand it, but it works like a charm.
Take a good read on the link i just posted.
It works for the Xbox one controller aswell (infact any controller).
But the travel of the triggers on Xbox one is smaller then on the Xbox 360 (dunno why made for shooters maybe ?) so the final result you are getting with Durazno ofcourse is not as good as with the Xbox 360 controller.

Like BornLoser said its brilliant.
My old controller had triggers that were like buttons so I modified & extended the triggers redesigned them in tinkercad & made my own on a 3d printer and altered the perameters.
BUT wasted far to much time on it
If you cant get on with something you just approach it differently, very very simple. If you find the triggers suck change the controller that was the relevancy .
