The reality that 20 will be an improvement and expansion of 19 answers your own question.
I can't wait to play MotoGp20!
If MotoGp19 is too difficult for you then stick with Ride3.
Coming from Ride 1, 3, IOM TT, IOM TT R2, MotoGP 19 was my first game.. and I find it kind of weird. In real life, I rode a 2008 CBR 1000RR on both street and track over 60,000 km.. I really enjoyed Ride 3's physics when you were hard on the brakes. Some might argue it was arcadey, but it has to this day a nice.. rhythm you get into on some sections.. Moto GP I've done career with the Moto 3, 2, and GP bikes and there isn't the same feeling on any of the tracks I found. Hard to explain. I was never a racer or anything but I liked quick rides on both street and track... long sweepers are sublime on a 1000+ cc bike. Although not a motojournalist, I've had the privilege of riding MANY bikes from 250cc to 1400cc+ (with the exception of 2-strokes) and I cannot directly make any valid comments on MotoGP prototype bikes.. but I feel like the bikes seem like they underperform in MotoGP.. the feeling.. especially the brakes. In THIS one regard, I liked Ride 3's front end feel a lot better..... MotoGP feels doggy... like it understeers and sometimes just doesn't want to stop (despite the ceramic brakes). I've even tried to compare braking markers on some tracks.. like Sepang the final straight before start/finish line and they were braking way earlier in real life (maybe it was all the extra fuel?)
The other thing I'm going to say and you can all agree or disagree is the cam views... MotoGP I play like everyone else [it seems] exclusively using 3rd person view.. which I find STUPID... whereas Ride 3 and IOMTT 2 I love using the helmet 1st person cam. All my statements are based on this. I only used the 1st person when I was doing Moto3 early in the career mode.
In short, you/I can go fast in 1st person view in IOM TT2 or Ride 3...using a controller, but for the best times, you need to use 3rd person in MotoGP 19 you need the 3rd person view to catch slides when you start to SEE your backend come out.. no matter the TC settings. This is what I find fishy and it seems like it's only gonna get worse in MotoGP20 (I'm downloading as I write this)
Good to know from a non biased perspective, I am playing the game in first person with a controller for fun, the opinions of all the hyper try hard esporters playing in third person doesn't interest me.
Well, I feel like they added the extra details like the sliding tires and such for the hyper try hards... I find some of the laptimes they are doing kinda defy logic... the weird braking lines.. It must be so confusing/hard for the actual MotoGP guys who are doing the virtual races. They were obviously in contact with mnay of the Esport league guys getting tips on how to be faster in the game when they are obviously Pros in real life on real machines...
The Historical 500cc bikes are dreadfully painful right now. On the medium difficulty they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to put it lightly. I get that they have spikes in powerbands, but my god the AI knows exactly where it is coming outta corners and so I turn off TC to 0 ... but still, it feels like sometimes you are giving gas and it just doesn't want to go... It feels like when you're playing a game with assists and it doesn't want you to rear end the person in front. F1 2018 was like this until you turned that crap off. Maybe it's just me with autogears on semi where I control downshifts or upshifts early, but letting it do its thing is horrid compared to the AI. Really not fun.
