After long hard work and practicing a lot. Winning your first race is a rewarding experience.
Online is still alive and people regularly visit the lobby. You can make great friends here.
My verdict: No confusion. Go ahead and enjoy MotoGP 20.
100% true. Go for it, don't hesitate.
I'd encourage getting fast in rookie and then move up. I consider the 2 strokes to be the hardest class, but also the most fun and most rewarding.
Epic game if you like bike racing.
In MotoGP20 on easy mode. the ai are out of sight by the end of the first lap and by lap 5 Im almost getting lapped.
Im struggling to find the fun.
I'd also consider alternative input devices. Maybe you don't find what you're using to be very intuitive.
Try and build your skills rather than setting yourself up to fail.
Go on the rookie bikes and then time trial. It's how I learnt the tracks. When you feel you know the track, move up one class.
I probably spend 75% of my time hot lapping. Mainly to get my bike setting right. Best way to learn!
But I found an article by milestone (can't find it now) which I think explains things. The article said it's easier to make a full on SIM, than to make a game.
The point I took is that milestone have to tweak and develop the gaming aspect, but also condition us the playerbase.
My expectation is that over the time needed to release the games, each game will really improve. But that time is necessary.
Go from Ride 3 to motogp19, to 20 to Ride 4 and theres a very clear and steep increase in quality. So much so that I really can't wait for Ride 4!
I have a G25 wheel, I have a CH products HOTAS and an X-box controller.
I tried the rookie bikes and what I wrote above was my experience in rookie class.
They just rode away from me.
Now considering this is playing the campaign, the first race, I expect the AI in the first instance to be levelled at a noob and not a seasoned player.
You've got to do time trials until you learn the tracks. Learn the 1st track, race, then learn the 2nd track.
Is your bike setup ok? Does it slide into corners when braking? Wobble on the way out?
There has to be a reason you are slow.
You know like every other sim on the market.
I know from my experiences in Race07, rfactor, GTL etc... Im not brilliant at sim racing when put against other players. I know I suck, but I can dumb down the AI so I can get a good enjoyable race where as long as I dont mess up and fall off the road/crash etc I can finish in the points.
When I do well and start winning I up the AI ability
