Rumour has it that AW(anti-wheelie) on those bikes does not work hence the wheelie problem.
I just watched a YT vid, some guy signed up for some Go Pro moto2 team and his rear is all over the place but no wheelie.
So if you chosen the wrong team your career is pretty much screwed because you will lose a lot of lap time there fighting the wheelie
The rear wheel is a throttle management probrem, its the player's fault and not a bug.
I tried in Time trial too, with custom team there is no 3 gear wheelie and i easily shaved 1.5 sec of my time (set with official bike)after 2 full laps. Im not talking about loose rear wheel, i just pointed it out to those "elitists" who said i dont know how to use throttle hence my wheelies. It was also suggested i need a "good setup". The guy in YT was so careless with throttle yet no wheelie, his team go pro, off course.
There is no excessive wheelies or rear slide if you control the throttle well, and i am no elitist or pro player (im in top 8 riders on moto2 without assists at 90%). Thats why I asked if that bug you are talking about is only in carrer mode.
Can you share that video to see what you are talking about?
Please go try yourself in Time Trial - choose stock team or custom and compare. I have driven real sims too so i know something about gentle throttle.
With custom moto2 team you can be earlier and bit more aggressive on gas and go faster.
With official moto2 bike i can get wheelies in 2nd or in the middle of 3 gear almost everytime, which costs a lot of time (even if you lift off)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oe7QijZnow&t=1468s look his not bad but his rear is all over the place and yet no excessive wheelies. Custom team/bike
I did and thats why I replied, I did 1.51.977 in mugello using the eg0,0. I didnt notice any exaggerated wheelies or slides.
How forgiving rear slides appear is another subject. Although I had numerous high sides when I was to impetient and sloppy out of a corner.
