-connect the pad to pc
-select the game(1 left click) you want to configure in your steam library
-Under "Play" green button there are some labels (like store/community hub) and at the end there is controller configuration (if disconnected this section will not appear, connect the pad and you'll see it.
-Click it and in this new page you can chose what buttons/sticks /trigger you want to rebind/change sensitivity,in your case (sensitivity) click on the bottom left JOISTICK MOVE
-On the bottom right you can see "additional settings",click on it
-in this new page ,2 are the value you want to test:
1) dead zone inner (increasing it means that you need to move more your stick from the center position to make the action start. On track it could be give you the "heavy bike" feeling, because you need more movement to the right or left for the rider to actually move from the center. So in motogp game this is kinda useless, use the lowest possible(if the bike feels to responsive on the straight or leaning left or right without you touchin anything, increase the value.
2)dead zone outer is very much more important, increasing it will make the bike super responsive during the corners.I dont know how you play but if you play like me in corners (i constantly tap left or right to get the right trajectory) increasing this value will make your bike so responsive it can make it woble a lot.Try different settings.
THIS WILL NOT BE REPLACED BY INGAME SETUP HANDLING SETTINGS
While the steam controller config options are very useful and I use them all the time for other games they only work on top of the built in game (in this case hidden options) set by the devs.
And if I can't tinker with the built in options at all I have to rely on the steam controller config to try and fix it. As an example using anti deadzone to try and remove too much deadzone set by the devs.
Some people rely on in game options to make a game playable. For example some people who suffer from joint pain or (restrictive movement in thumb joint) have other disabilities need as many options as possible.
A question,how anti deadzone works?
Steam (in big picture mode), to to game > manage > controller settings.
You can set throttle curves, deadzone and remap.
Thank you Jakerock !!
After much trial and error, this is the answer to my prayers. Getting rid of the massive deadzone on my PS4 controller has transformed MotoGP 2020 into the most exhilarating racer I've played in a long time.
i can not find where to change, AI is locked when you trying to do changes?
