120 % AI to easy ?
Hey guys,
See a lot of people complaining about the AI how hard they ram players off but i have an another kind of question don´t know if i do something wrong .....
But in career mode 120 % AI in M3 it´s kinda easy and boring in special in quali
Does somoene else have this kind of problem or are my settings bugging ?

Hm... I didn't try 120%, I started at (M3) 100% and I got totally smoked. I'm at 85% now and qualifying is almost a walk in the park but in the races they are MUCH faster than in qualifying. But now at least I can hold 1st to 6th position. But racing at full race distance is not that easy, especially after the first 10-15 laps the AI sometimes goes full nitrous.

Maybe it´s done to that i never do over 50 % to long otherwise haha but i guess it will be like every time they will try to patch it at least hope so

I agree. 120% AI is too easy in Moto3, especially in quali. In the race it is a bit more difficult, but I can easily hold off the riders behind me. If someone passed me, they're gone.

I agree, won easily all first 10 gp's. Good setting, manual shifts and I win consistently. They are way faster on races than qualy wtf?!?!

same here at Q2 i get like +3 secs but in race they suddenly are equal or faster than me and i am doing the same time per lap aprox XDXD it's kinda weird when i am streamming and ppl tell me that i am playing with a low difficulty (80-90%) but in race most of times i win with 1 sec to 5 in 9 laps or i cant follow they first group :/

I kept the difficulty at the default 80% with my first moto3 career race.
Qualified in 4th so I thought the difficulty was perfect but I got absolutely murdered in the race, falling back to last...
Then I rechecked the R&D part, reset the career and before the first race I upgraded the engine and chassis to the first stage: easy pole, easy win.

So, the upgrades do at least definitely change the bikes performance, but the AI doesn't seem to adapt to it very well...

Then I tried 100% difficulty with first stage upgrades from the first race and it feels pretty solid now.
Qualified third and won but with some engine mapping and good battles.

Yup, 120% is definitely too easy.

I mean, irl if you're a decent MotoGP rider you'll dominate Moto3. When Andrea Dovizioso raced 125 in 2004 he never finished below 4th place. Same for Alvaro Bautista in 2006.

Perhaps MotoGP at 120% will be more difficult than Moto3 at 120? I too am in the midst of a rather dominant Moto3 season at max difficulty.

I don´t realy think so 2004 2006 was another time in 125 cc today the field is realy close even Motogp has a lot of different winner times have changed i guess

I agree, started a thread about how we need more variety at the front in the Moto3 races but I also stand by my original point.

125/Moto3 records for some MotoGP riders from the past decade:
Zarco had 1 win and 11 podiums in 2011 - in MotoGP 0 wins (6 podiums)
Marc Marquez won 10 races and 12 podiums in 2010 - Multi time MotoGP champion
Vinales had only 3 wins but 15 podiums in 2013 - 7 GP wins (23 podiums)
Rins had 6 wins and 14 podiums in 2013 - 2 GP wins (8 podiums)
Jack Miller had 6 wins and 10 podiums in 2014 - 1 win (1 podium)
Joan Mir won 10 races and 13 podiums in 2017 - 0 wins (0 podiums)

I think the riders destined for MotoGP generally do extremely well in a feeder tier, be it 125/Moto3, Moto2, WSSP/WSBK, etc. The focus of this career mode is to be become MotoGP champion so I personally don't have issue with constantly getting to the front and battling for wins in Moto3 or Moto2 (haven't made it that far in my career but Tito Rabat dominated in 2014 Moto2). Hopefully at the GP level it's not as easy.
