Trigger deadzone adjustment option?

I've noticed that for both my brake and acceleration there is a small dead zone at the end of the trigger pull. i.e. it reaches 100% brake or 100% accelerator before the trigger is through 100% of its full range of motion. (Once I worked out that what I thought was about 85% brake was actually 100% brake I stopped getting up on one wheel so much lol)

Are there any options to adjust this in game? As far as I can tell the control configuration menu is pretty basic. Just the control bindings and no options to adjust axis?

Using an xbox one controller.

I have noticed exactly the same. Also using xbox controller on pc. It's very hard to control thottle and brake smoothly.

FIY : I had the same problem with my xbox one controller, but also a deadzone on the extreme positions of the direction stick : awful, since I couldn't go to max leaning, I couldn't take proper corners.
As a first try to fix that : I had no problem with my PS4 controller at all.

In the end, I launched a full recalibration on the xbox one controller in Steam Big Picture, and everything is now back to normal.
Maybe you should give it a try too !

I face this issue for all games with a Xbox one Controller (whatever standard or Elite). There are 20% of the trigger range missing and for driving sim it's a big issue. I've understood it's an hardware setup and I've tried all calibration under windows without any success.

did you try x360ce ? iirc you can adjust such parameter

Just have tried both Steam big picture and x360ce, unfortunately no possibility to fix the trigger limited range issue

Hey, same issue here with a Xbox Series controller. I reach the 100% brake while only have pressed about 90% on the trigger.
Has anyone found a way to fix it ?

Did you try adjusting the controller layout? Its under the play button where "store page / community hub, etc" is, on the right side. Try adjusting "right/left trigger" range start and range end. Make sure its set to "linear".
