how to restart / delete a career?

how can I restart my Career, I selected the wrong difficulty and ended up with damn auto brakes etc and can see no way to turn them off...

I don't know about deleting career, but you can change settings and difficulty in the options. The Auto brakes were annoying.. I've only started historical challenges and it was on and horrid.

can you tell me where exactly I can change settings like joint brakes, manual gearbox, etc??
I've chosen Hard at the start og game and I can only change a few things in career like ia ability and that's it... Not enjoying the game right now :S

On the physics, you can change it

I've looked into options on the main menu, doesn't seem to be there... in career mode you cant also find physics anywhere
only place i've found physics is in historic mode, dont know if it applies to career mode any changes made there
another erratic start from milestone

when u go to your 1st race in my career, when u in your pit you have "Riding Aids" at bottom (Y with xbox controller)

have to go into actual race or practice and then in the menu theres press Y for aids.. took me a bit to find too :D

You can change from "Continue Career" to "New Career" on the main menu tile using the right stick. The GUI tells you so, but I missed it at first too. Starting a new career deletes your old one (after you confirm).

But as others already told you, you can change riding aids and difficulty within career mode.
