Dragon Nest Client Via Main site and Dragon Nest Via Steam Client connected?

Hellow im planning to play dragon nest via steam and will i be able to play with people do downloaded dragon nest at the main site even though i downloaded mine from steam?
and if someone can teach and help me start up in dragon nest , i would really appreciate it <3

You'd need to download both of them I think... When you click play on the main site it gives you a installer regardless if you have the steam version, I think I'm not entirely sure but it is possible to play via both clients just one will have access to your steam friends

Either you got it from steam or you got it from Nexon's website, they are still one server as it requires you to connect with your Nexon account.
Only difference with loading it with steam is, you can access steam community in-game. although the game itself has its very own buddy system. like many mmorpg
Oh and i also forgot to add, the site portal checks a folder C:\Nexon\DragonNest to see if the files are there and just run/update.(At least thats how i think it works) :P along with the installation of nexon game manager (no idea what it does)
