Return of an old player, lots of problems with DN now

Fresh account since everything was wiped. I noticed the game has a ton of new points and random things thrown at you without explaining it. I also don't recall getting this much crap in the mail.

Most importantly, the bosses are insanely powerful now. You cannot even play solo anymore without dying on hard or normal sometimes. What is this balance? The combat doesn't feel as smooth as it once did.

How can there be so many problems with it? Just wow

Didn't it also get rid of the Highest Possible level aside from end game levels? Its been a while memory's foggy
