Returning Player: Having Trouble with Steam Client

Hello!

I haven't played this game in a few years. I played on multiple servers, but ended up sticking to playing through Steam. I don't remember how I used to launch it, however :(
All I vaguely remember is how often the servers/clients used to change.

The error I'm receiving after opening my launcher is: "Problem with the game client data. Please reinstall the game client. Error code [10006] [900]"

Any help s appreciated!

yeah i didnt get this error, but i got a kinda of bug from coming back 2 years later to play again, right now when i try to launch it opens the new patch / launcher but when downloading the patch it says there is some 16772598 TB of download, so something is definitely wrong lol so i came to check if its around, but ill probably just delete my DN caches and disk info and reinstall it in steam to see if it fixes it

this is why i always write down accounts / passwords in a notebook when i get a new game so i can always come back and get in, otherwise its impossible to keep track of all the little 3rd party website accounts you have to make for some games or even bigger ones with Uplay and stuff like that

I was thinking of deleting everything as well and see how it goes. I even downloaded a launcher from the official website and got the same thing. I basically just worry about being able to connect through steam; I've spent some money on that account and I have a lvl 90 character on it :(
