Pay attention to the shield you buy. The amount of Repel in % will remain with it forever. So far, I've only managed to find a shield with a maximum base Repel of 25%. If you want another value, it makes sense to reset the store's assortment (go to the main menu and return back to the game).
Don't buy multiple shields in a row. With the successive purchase of shields, their cost in shards increases (35 ->53 -> 79-> ...). If you have already bought a shield and want to buy another one, then reset the store's assortment (using the method above). After reset new shield will cost you 35 shards again.
UPD:
However, as the Repel % increases, the base level-up cost increases.
5% - 12,500 rubies
10% - 100,000 rubies
15% - 337,500 rubies
20% - 800,000 rubies
25% - 1,560,000 rubies
Decide for yourself which ratio is optimal.
You can still use it after Ritual when having enough mana without having skilled it just by pressing C

Normaly i got a doll instead of a shield
Nice - doesn't change that the new active skills don't work in an idle setting.
