Anyone know what the skull does?
Just started playing again cause the update looks interesting, so I just started the first curse with 150x health which isn't too bad. Anyways, as the title says.

Long story short - you put the skull in weapon/item and when this weapon/item is lvl 50 curse it (you can't move it) and give you bonus stat till next rutual
Upon reaching level 50 with a Skull enchanted weapon or simply applying the skull to a weapon over level 50 a red skull appears on the weapon. When you click the skull you can add a bonus, however the weapon may no longer moved from its slot. Also the weapon is no longer able to be upgraded until a bonus is chosen, as the skull "covers" the weapon until you choose one.

(Cost) - (bonus) you may only select one bonus, some bonuses take more skulls:

1 Skull - "Increase weapon damage" ; "Get temporary levels" ; "auto-upgrades"
2 Skulls - "Increase Dexterity" (on any weapon not a heavy sword)
4 Skulls - "Increase Wisdom" ; "Increase Strength*" ; "Increase Dexterity" (heavy sword only)

*The inverse applies to "increase strength" it requires 2 skulls for a heavy sword and 4 skulls for anything else.

Formulas are as follows:
Damage increase by 50% for each skull added
Gain 80 temporary levels for each skull added
Auto-upgrades scales with number of skulls
All the stat bonuses read +1 to stat.

Wisdom reads "formula 11- [weapon quality]" (Increase Strength or Dexterity don't contain similar text)

I obtained the skull at the end of the shard, leaving the shard doesn't return the skull to your inventory.


The skull remains on the weapon after leaving the shard (and ritual), and upon reaching weapon level 50 in the next shard (or ritual) the skull bonus appears again. This is how they accumulate.
"Temporary levels" lasts until the end of the level, not until the next ritual.

its not per skulls added btw, you are missing the square root fx in the formula.

in items, increase damage is replaced by raise level cap by 20% (compounds with the wisdom syllable 3 effect in galaxy constellations)
