Golden Umbrella

I have 2 of these, but I can't activate the second one for some reason. They're in the first and second slots that I have available. Do they need to be in specific slots, or am I just completely missing something?

I had this problem too but it solves by itself after the Ritual.

How do you activate the umbrella? I've tried clicking, control click, shift click, right click... I can't get the dumb thing open.

Try dragging to a different slot and clicking.

Also, just in case, I note that with an open inventory, items in equipment slots can't be activated, because you are in the "move items" mode. Only when the inventory is closed, you can perform "on click" actions with eqiupped ittems (leveling up, choosing the curse of the skull, opening the Umbrella).

Personally, when taking the 'road to home' to the earliest point, I've had issues with the umbrella until I reached the Rain symbol again.
