Are shard shop bonuses permanent or not?

Some people say that they reset after black hole or something farther.
Some say that they are indeed permanent.

So are Shard Shop Bonuses permanent or not?

Shard shop bonuses are permanent. The only thing you lose going into black holes is your flame power.

the only thing that removes shard shop bonuses is a hard reset. going into black hole is not a hard reset, it's a tier 1 soft reset for a different bonus, namely, knowledge progress, which opens out a couple of eatures later on.

Is Hard Reset required to progress?

hard reset is the opposite of progress. hard reset is bad. hard reset is the reset in the settings. it's a 2nd-worst-case scenario if you're game is bugging out. it's a total reset of everything, even shards. it's basically starting the game again.

Oh, and just in case: when you finish any Shard and see "Knowledge of the world" reward tab - DON'T spend shards on Revelations. Revelation effects are temporary and work only at current Galaxy. Going to the next Galaxy through the Black Hole will reset all effects from this tab (including Revelations half). However, all items will remain.

Doesn't matter how tempting could be Revelations half - resist the temptation, because it will be a waste of shards.

Could be worth it to buy revelation for the chests if there were two boss chests. Since that would also include at least one celestial chest, buying that would give you 2 rings, 2 souls, 3-4 stones. 3-4 weapons for 300 or so shards. Later, when your soul income becomes slow, buying revelations is probably the best way to get souls since you still clear shards just as fast.

the best way to get souls is live boxes. the second best way is to get the revelation IFF there are two boss boxes in the list AND the price is under 351 shards. endgame, boss souls are king. i don't even look at anything else outside the shard shop for shards.
