I've seen a copy of my best ring, a malachite strength ring currently, that was apparently made of Iron I'd love to have picked up, but I'm saving for my first +1 to sp on level up, then some stone extraction tools to consolidate my good charms.
Iron is obviously the most plentiful but they eventually start costing steel as well which takes away from weapon upgrades. Other metals also start costing more stuff as you upgrade them. I have a gold ring that now also costs malachite to upgrade and a malachite ring that costs gold.
I would recommend against buying accs in the shop. Shards are better spent elsewhere, like rare weapons or in the shard shop, since you can get accs from boss chests.
What you think are the best options for ring materials? All malachite? All gold? Gold-malachite 1:1? Like 1 of different type? Try to vade iron? Evade those which cost steel from start the most?
Please, share your observations.
i tell you how i played till now: i focused on my noname dagger to upgrade, im on my way to grade 14 now, as for the rings i own 3 dex and 2 strength rings, the strg ones are grade 5 the dex rings are two 3 grades and 1 is grade 4 working to get it to 5.
the most hard to get resources in my opinion (and most needed one sadly...) is Steel.
how to get it:
look out for heavy weaps in the shop (you can buy them for wax) every heavy weap gives 2 steel. if theres no heavy weap in the shop - close the game and open it again, the shop changes everytime, do this till you have a heavy weap to buy there.
next strat. is to rerun the first shard for the grim chest which could give steel by its own or a heavy weapon - after you got the chest finish the shard and re-run it again
also dont save up too much stones you dont need, if you are no way near the next weap grade upgrade, use the stones to get the mats you need, you can ez buy them later for shards if you rly need them.
Thank you,
what materials are your rings made of? what resources do you lack the most and do you feel ok with the income of others?
since i finished the symbols in the galaxy map i dont have any need to play the game further at this point but what you will lack most is steel.
I use a gold strength ring and a malachite dex ring. I also have a regular dex ring for the 6th slot but i'm not upgrading it since it costs so much steel. Gold, malachite, or non-ring are best for going past quality 5 since none of those use steel and you can then focus your steel into weapon upgrades. Iron rings are ok for quickly getting to quality 5 and then leaving them there for the +1 stat skull choice and maybe a little further since they shouldn't cost too much steel immediately. Definitely don't upgrade regular rings imo since they cost 40 steel to upgrade from quality 3 I think.

So you use 3 weapons - buzz for proc and you prolly dont upgrade it, and nonanme+primal. So its beter to upgrade both noname and primal in battle then replacing a noname with a decent, say, strenth ring?
You can just go pure no-name and skip primal all together if you want, primal is only a 2x bonus. Honestly for now I'd just level your no name up to around 15 or so and then save your resources as there is a forge constilation that will probably boost or make well...forging a weapon easier/better. That is what I'm doing as there is no need for a primarl or higher tier weapon right now.
As mentioned above steel is the most important/hardest resource to get. You can actually get it from breaking down some rings etc (20 a pop), but the cost to upgrade later can be really expensive. Saving up shards though (I have like 2k) could let you buy alot of rings for upgrades if it was really needed later.
I'd honestly suggest just 1 dex ring, two would just double crit damage...which is nice and all, but not needed at all currently, and boosting BASE damage even by only 1/2 that much, boosts crit damage as well, but also makes it more likely you can kill things without crit which is much faster.
I currently go with my no-named/buzzing + combat gloves (like 8 or 9), dex ring (5), and all strength rings (5). That is 4 strength rings total.
That may seem like alot, but realize that 1 str ring is base, 2 is double, and 4 is double that.
Going from 2 str to 4 doubles your damage, which is 50% of the bonus for just crit if you go from 1 to 2 dex rings.....to me that is worth more big time (Even if uneeded right now.
For not hp-multiplier runs crit is not needed at all, and honestly it's only even used a bit on the end of a galaxy resistance runs with full hp multiplier (which there is no actual reason to do anymore).
That was exactly i was asking for)
One mor thing - never heard of a forge constellation - is it already in the game or it is fr future updates?
And also have you tested whether is it profitable to swap one or two str rings for another primal dagger considering it will take some rubies to upgrade, but it seems 2 daggers evenly graded are more profitable then just one full graded dagger plus 4th str ring. Or maybe even 3rd.
Sry if i fail to explain the question well
As far as another weapon there are a few reasons why it's not worth it, even to just add a primal and a non-primal.
First the resources needed keep increasing the higher tier of the weapon, this includes the skulls needed, and means you have 1 less skull that adds a stat point (As you need to have skulls that add to weapon damage on...well weapons your using damage from.
Second each weapon you have splits the money spent on them, so two weapons have 1/2 as much money invested in each of them as one weapon would.
Third primal weapons cost shards which can be spent on well, actually boosting damage without using up a slot lol.
So, basically it makes sense to start off with the no-named dagger (for now) and upgrade it till it starts getting expensive (Around tier 15).
At that point you can either work on upgrading a primal now, or wait like me, but honestly it'll only ever be 2x more damage (still useful...just...probably not that much of an impact anymore with so many multipliers).
You'll want to replace the no-named if you do go with a primal though as wasting a slot just doesn't make sense.
Even in the case of having enough materials for 2 of em, and already having 2 primal weapons, you still don't get THAT much of an advantage over 1 more strength ring because:
STR ring is a 33% increase in damage over all (3 str rings to 4 str rings is a 33% increase).
STR ring gives +1 more free stat (Can be a big deal in total saved skill points.
STR ring stops using resources/cash later so basically doubles your rubies for primary weapon.
STR ring doesn't require any future resources to upgrade (so you keep increasing 1 weapon
So once you factor in needing to spend (300 or so) shards to get a primal weapon, and a few thousand iron/steel just to get a second weapon leveled up, along with the stones etc (which long term you'll get but short term may take awhile), and you subtract all the bonuses you'd get from a strength ring instead of another weapon, it's totally and completely not worth it to have 2 weapons that are setup for damage.
Best over all setup is 1 main damage weapon/1 buzzing weapon/1 dex ring/1 combat gloves/4 strength rings, at least right now (there are of course other setups especially if your using spells, since mana lump is based on max mana, and summon swords can get pretty sick with high str and very high max mana etc.
For instance 2 max mana rings with 2 strength rings, is only 1/2 the damage of 4 strength rings, but you can have something like 6-7 summoned swords out as well, which can be really good for non-wolf/non-crit builds. That being said, NO mana rings and 2 more strength rings doubles your damage, which means each sword is doing double damage and you still get 2 (so it's the equivalent of 4 swords damage with the mana rings).....and honestly you currently don't need em anyway.
So for now, the STR rings just let you auto-kill things all the way through easier, which is the fastest way to clear shards.
Thank you again. Very full explanation.
Glad you had that amazing experience by yourself, and we here have no chance for dramatic mistakes like grading the only weapon with hghests dmage at start..
Okays here we go! Galaxies beware!
