How do I open the vent in Agri Fields?

There's a vent with a purple glow and Lady Love Dies says that there's something under it but she can't reach it / can't open the vent. I ended up finishing the game without doing this, how do I get the thing or open the vent?

There are 3 valves scattered around the farm and a pump station on the farm to put them in. If you put in all 3, the water rises and you can get the thing that floats up.

Can you spoil for me what the thing is in the vent? After beating the game Shinji ruins the vents so I can't do it now.

No, that's not true.

The poetry is found under the bridge to the reality folding drive. The item in the vent is Lydia's broken tablet that Starlight shows has a key to the nightmare computer on the beach that gives the code to the second seal.
