MASSIVE ENDING SPOILERS!!!

Isiah done it all

Hey, you know who has ample opportunity to arrange for a Citizen to be possessed by a demon in a roundabout way? The guy who procures and conditions Citizens and who really wants his exiled wife back.

You know who has opportunity to use that directional speaker that seems like a bit of a dangling thread besides Lydia, Sam and Witness? The Syndicate members who were there twiddling their thumbs during the warm-up sequence, when they were being taken to Perfect 25.

You know who might just possibly have discovered a secret bunker in the graveyard and has free access to Eyes Kiwami blood samples? Jaheem Fortune, the graveyard keeper whose literal job is to tend to that tiny graveyard.

You know who's second in command to the two most important industry leaders on the islands? Balthazar Tears and Nicolina Rose, who are the only logical successors in those industries should their bosses mysteriously die.

Crimson Acid doesn't reveal her sources, but you know who would be an excellent source for all sorts of secrets, factual and lies? Her handler, Nicolina Rose.

And if anyone wants to tell me what the hell the Opening of a Door is I'll implicate Madam Complex and her little dog too.

Sure, Carmelina's conspiracy required her to be on the island, but the Witness conspiracy was set up to be timed and could go off without a hitch whether they were there or not. Carmelina admits to cooking up her whole scheme by herself, but Witness doesn't.

Boom, third conspiracy.

Didn't the game pretty overtly tell you at one point that someone off the island may be involved? I was also hoping that was something more than a red herring.

Well, from a writing standpoint, there's actually no point to having people off the island at all. The game would have played identically without those people. And this game is pretty tightly scripted, so that's weird. Could just be for color of course, or to establish all alibis, but then the bar patrons feature pretty heavily as well.

And yeah, I do remember someone outright saying that. And post-trial, Shinji makes a comment about this having been "millennia in the making" or something like it.

Also, COME ON

I suspect it's setting up a part 2 on 25.

I mean I kind of hope so, more is better in this case!

It does ensure that Paradise can continue even if you execute everyone (or almost everyone.) Though I'm not sure that's a good thing, narratively - "this place doesn't deserve to exist, so I'm executing everyone" seems like an entirely valid conclusion.

That conversation is also available pre-trial.

There is a scene on island 25 at the bar where the guy asks the girl, "So why did you do it? Why did you kill paradise?" Im pretty sure its Issah talking to the girl from the soda industry Dead Nebula.

I accidentally clicked through that one! I saw something about "why kill" but I hit the skip button twice by accident. It's been haunting me. Thank you for releasing me from this prison of my own making.

No problem. I like your theory too. I was under the assumption that the whole thing was a plot by the Dead Nebula corp too sell more drinks, but now I think it could've been everyone who left for island 25 before the start of the game.
