[Spoilers] trial loose ends

BIG END GAME SPOILERS

just beat the game and i'm feeling pretty satisfied with the convictions i got, i think i collected all the pieces of evidence, but theres one big thing i was kind of confused about. wondering if anyone has answers

It seems like theres 3 possible suspects who were at the scene of the crime in the council chamber: yuri, the killer demon, and the kid (cant remember his name). i ended the trial by convicting the kid, it seemed to be the most likely scenario. So how does the demon fit into this? if i remember correctly, it also had a gunshot wound and blood on its claws. Did they both participate in the murders and then monserrat shot them both? Same with yuri. His hat petals were found in the chamber, are we just supposed to chock that up to coincidence?

Did you clear all your leads? Both the demon and kid were responsible because there were 2 plans happening: Carmelina's and Witness's. Yuri wasn't directly responsible for the actual killing.

The Convictions were very cold-blooded and a little weird to me tbh.

Yuri brought the kid through the seals. The demon was part of a different, unrelated plot against the council. You might have missed another conspiracy.

I got the consipiricy by Witness the end, im just unsure of how events played out with the two seperate conspiricies. It seems like both the kid and the demon murdered the council and were shot by monserrat? did they each kill a portion of the counsil at the same time, and then monserrat shot them both? was it a single shot or two shots? its kind of pedantic but im interested in how things actually happened. Is it possible to convict them both for the murder of the council? i only ended up convicting the kid and letting the demon off free (as free as a dead demon can be)

as for Yuri, i convicted him of killing KHX and giving henry the book, but i dont see how hes responsible for letting the kid in, maybe i missed that. Why would the kid need help getting into the counsil room? the portal gets him to seal three and he has the godflesh and blood required to get through the last 2 seals.

I assumed the council members that were basically eviscerated were killed by the demon and the ones with smaller scale slash wounds were Dainonigate. And yes, Monserrat shot them both, two shots. One through Dainonigate, into the wall and the other in the demon's head.

Yuri got the secret of the second seal from KHX and then took Dainonigate through it. Maybe acting as sort of a chaperone to be sure he through with the murders. Perhaps there should have been a second space helmet for him, there are a lot in the council chamber, maybe one belongs to him since he didn't leave back through the seals like Yuri did. Though perhaps his god flesh somehow lets him withstand the vacuum of space.

How did you figure Yuri guided Dainonigate through the seals? I'm assuming I wasn't nice enough to someone that would've given me testimony.

Yuri's involvement really was the part that confused me the most since you find his petals in the penthouse. The way I went about it was that Carmelina used the portal on Witness's balcony to go to him and get him through the seals and then get back before Witness's call ended. Thinking about it now, it makes sense given that he has that 10 minutes of radio silence, but I was wondering if there was evidence that I missed otherwise.

LLD notes that the portal punched out from the council chamber looks amateurish and hastily made, so was done by someone other than Carmelina. She also speculates that without knowing the interior of the council chamber, Carmelina would not have been able to make a portal in. Carmelina DID go pick up Dianonigate and drop him off with Yuri, but then went back to WItness' apartment. Also, you can confront Yuri about hacking into the obelisk computer, and he'll let it slip that he knows what the second seal is, giving evidence that he's personally been through it.

I convicted Yuri of breaking the second seal, in addition to those two.
After that he confessed everything, how he brought the kid through the seals and let him into the council room. Then afterwards the kid cam out frightened and dissapeared throught he wall.
in other word, that door was created by the kid, not Carmina.

As for who killed who, i looked at the bodies, and the ones closest to the demon and furthest away from the door had injuries that almost split them in half or was completly gutted.
I presume the demon got those, then Montserrat shot it.
The 2 council members closest to the wall and door had their throath slit and stabbed in the gut.
While Montserrat also had his throath slit.
I presume the kid killed those 3 as their death was much cleaner and they weren't killed with huge strenght like the others.

Can anyone tell me how to find Dainonigate? I managed to get everything else right, but didn't figure out the bit about Carmelina's illegitimate kid. Still nailed her for the conspiracy, and Witness for his seperate conspiracy. That was a loose end I didn't manage to tie up, though.

Damn there goes the feeling of 100%ing it I had hahaha. I got Lydia on the second seal (and therefore the full accomplice side of Witness plot brought into daylight) but that left me with no true hit on Yuri to get him to spill all (obvs he spilled part after being convicted for Henry's escape earlier). Since you can only pin him with the second seal, and you can pin Sam for the third seal anyways I guess that was optimal but the evidence train for Lydia's break in was so much more more complete and satisfying to present at trial than Yuri's case and he was already dead over the Henry thing so I wasn't worried about getting justice :).

I pinned Yuri for killing K.HX. His ring and cancelling of the boat rides was evidence enough that there was foul play, he spills the beans after that.
