Does this game have a "true ending"?
I have absolutely 0 interest in playing a mystery game without an actual answer to the mystery, and it seems like this game's whole thing is that exact concept. Does the "accuse anybody" come back around in any satisfying conculsion, or is it just some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic to encourage replays?

From what I've read the game ends as open ended as it started.. Although I don't know if that reviewer just missed something.

There is one concrete truth, yes. Not a lot of replay value, as the whodunnit is constant between playthroughs.

I beat it on switch just now. While there is one truth, I was left wondering if I missed something in regards to a couple of the characters. I think I ended up letting a couple of people with tangential relation to the crime get away. I'm okay with that though. The aftertaste of the end is pleasant and lingering for me.

Quarantine not bringing out the best in you eh chief?
There's only one version of events that actually happened but who you decide to accuse is up to you. You might not have enough evidence to prove it.

There is a complete explanation of the crime, but other than that being announced at court, the ending doesn't change the ending in a significant way. There is no better investigator checking on you.
