Mature Content Option

In the general options tab there is a setting called "Mature Content". Could someone reveal what this option does, preferable without too many spoilers? I am mostly curious.

Hey. Thanks for checking out the game! The mature content filter just replaces swear words with **** and blocks some of the voice acting lines which contain swearing. It doesn’t affect any gameplay or visuals.
