the finale, make it make sense
I love the style of this game, but some of these cases especially this one, have such incoherent logic. This finale case makes zero sense to me, the evidence simply doesn’t support a coherent story for the answers.

The game should at least reveal the story and how the evidence supports it once you solve it. Even the guides and walkthroughs out there are scrambling and reaching for logic to this one.

Wholeheartedly agree. I knew that at the time of the killings, Roman was outside. That leaves the other 3 brothers in the house(The butler mentioned that all guests are gone at this point.) We know that Ellis's room had the golf clubs. Why he attacked Glenn, I'm not quite sure yet. Maybe Glenn didn't want to follow through with the plan. Ellis kills Glenn with blunt force trauma by the sand wedge club. As Ellis comes down stairs, Roger was ready with the hand pistol and shot Ellis. Maybe the plan wasn't to kill anyone, but Ellis took things in his own hands. You can see the streaks leaving the front door. We know that both Glenn and Roger have experience with hunting and gathering the kills, so either him or Glenn dragged the body. If Glenn's dead, then it has to be Roger. The motivations don't quite make sense. I wish there were more conversations to check out.

the motivations don’t make any sense and are actually in conflict with the evidence. i don’t even know exactly how we’re supposed to know the numbers besides the butler, or how you figured out that X was outside. these are just loose assumptions. it’s such a great scene for a murder and the math equation was logical but the case is so poorly evidenced and not in a fun and fair way. annoyed at it.

Unfortunately, I think it will all be guesses until they decide to recap the full story. Every detective game I've played. regardless if it's video game or board game, typically provides you with the solution. Hopefully, EQ Studios will make that an update to breakdown why things are the way they are. My guess is that they didn't want to provide that to increase replayability, but as you can see from a lot of these discussions, it's been frustrating at least.

Sibling Rivalry and jealousy exists its the cain and abel syndrome

I don't think Glen actually is cynical, conceited or a jerk despite being a lawyer, look how he talks to Felix the butler, cell phone upstairs, he talks to felix with reasonable respect. Now look at Ellis respond to felix phone in lobby " yeah yea" regarding helping out his fathers funeral]

The way he talks to Roman however shows Glenn seems like he wants nothing to do with him. THE BIGGEST question I have is, " what dirt " did Roman have on Glenn as he said in Ellis phone? AND IT SAID ALL THREE OF US AGREE, did roger agree to off Glenn? If so why did Roger shoot Ellis after doing the deed then?

MY QUESTIONS ARE:
- WHO IS THE 3rd THAT COLLABORATED TO OFF GLEN or was this a mistake by the developers?
- Why did Roger shoot Ellis IF he was the 3rd collaborator, roger couldve easily warned Glenn maybe roger agreed to something else but murder if he had a change of heart

I am really starting to deduce, that ROMAN is the collaborator of the whole damn thing. His PLAN to get ALL of the fortune if you really think about it. Success driven, has a full family.
Think about it, Elis Kills Glenn, roman KNOWS roger is in the house, and is close to glenn, despite roger knowing or doesnt that Glenn was going to get murdered by ellise by what ROMAN told him, Roger would respond a certain way and thats killing Ellis. Roger goes to jail getting minus points who gets it all? ROMAN GETS IT ALL

Yeah, this case made little to no sense to me. There's no clear evidence to figure out whose phone is whose. While I agree that Ellis' phone is the one downstairs given the way he texts, it's also confusing to see it charging downstairs. Why would he leave his phone there for everyone to see, specially if he's plotting to kill one of his siblings, instead of leaving it in his room with the rest of his stuff? There's also the motivation behind killing Glenn. Why would Ellis' want to kill him? It's very likely that Roman was their father's favorite son, and if you look at their eulogies, Roman seems to be a jerk, so I assumed at first that Glenn and Roger wanted to get rid of him because of the way he kind of insulted their father's memory. Ellis wanting to kill Roman also makes sense, but I just don't see why Glenn was the target of a conspiracy. Also, the phone downstairs says 'all three of us', who's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ third? It sure as hell wasn't Roger because he killed Ellis (that much was obvious, Roger and Glenn seem to be very close). I didn't figure this out myself, but I guess that the only way it could be known that Glenn was the one killed would be the fact that his briefcase was left behind, while there seem to be no more belongings from either Roman or Roger. I felt really dumb resorting to online help with this one.
