Command for Splitting and Single item DOES NOT WORK

Hello,

Not sure if anyone else experience the same thing, but when I try to use the splitting command: LEFT SHIFT + LMB, or the single item selection command: LEFT CTRL + LMB, it does not work, regardless it is from the storage or in the current inventory. I could drop item by using LEFT CTRL + RMB. Please advise.
