Sandstone mining

Hi, i got a pickaxe and i have leveled up but when i try mine sandstone it repels me, what am i missing please?

@Seth ... you need the next level of pickaxe (Copper if I recall) ... all mines have a number on the map icon .. 1, 2, 3, 4, ...1 needs basic tools .. 2 needs copper tools .. 3 iron tools ... 4 grit tools ... hope that clears your confusion Seth

@Seth ... just watched some of the Stream you uploaded to Youtube ...watching you play was thinking, eventhough you were mentioning Afrikaans words ... you sounded more Rhodisia/Zimbabwe to my ear (yup, I could be wrong :) ) ... you seemed to be struggling in a few basics fella ... if you want any general tips, just pop it in steam or 'Friend' me in steam and I will try to live text you the help

Cont... (if I am online at that time ) ... a few simple things I noticed ... picking up multiple objects you can just hold E to collect all ...weapons you have but did not equip (my set up is 1 Sword 2 bow 3 Axe 4 Pick 5 blank 6 food 7 water (you did have 2 bottles in your pack early on, just fill them at the well) 8 and 9 healing/ boost items ... But like I said .. throw me a message if you want to text chat about the game :)
