TIP: Save Your Coin For Upgrading Buildings & Repair Kits
I made the mistake of using all my coin to expand the storage. Then when I needed to upgrade the blacksmith and furnace to make iron tools, I needed to get more coin. I should have used the containers around the village in the beginning. Robin's Chest, The other chest in his house, the chest at the top of the tree behind Robin's bed, another one in the room behind Tuck, the barrel by Marian, another chest at the top of the tree behind the trader.

Coin is quite easy to get by hunting deer, and buying salt from village trader, roasting the deer and selling them back. Salt costs 6 coins, roast sells for 26, so 20 coins profit from one piece of meat.

If its so easy and limitless its just an unnecessary time sink. Even as is I don't understand why the salt is even necessary from a crafting perspective. Just add the cost of salt to the cost of cooking the meat and save the unnecessary back and forth.
i hate hunting deer. always no stop freight train speeds. never deer standing still.

Use slow time ability on F key. Also do not waste arrows shooting at deer running away. Deer stays still for some time when they drink at river. From other shore is possible to shoot them.

Go south-east-ish from Robins village. Stay near the hunters stand (i dont stand on it, just in the region) and the deer will run around. Use F to slow down time, kill em until you are overweight, then head further east to the bed & Chest near the river - empty your pockets and repeat. When inventory & chest is full you cann sell the hide, buy salt, cook the meat and sell it.
The way I've also been adding to my coin purse - Not hording the plants you pick, they sell decently, you can pick them as you're running around anyways, they repop and there is no wear and tear on your tools. Also, because I am early on in the game I don't really know what I am doing...SO, when I am not in the village I set as many workers as I can on the hunters station and have them all bringing in deer meat, you don't get the leather but you can also cook that up and sell it, is what I've been doing.
You get more coins then you need if you make some farms...I have 4...they give me 5 - 6000 !

This, you don´t even need to upgrade them to 3 .... 2 farms at level 2 give me about 3k each visit, I invested a bit in the trade skills ... 2 points I think. But the more you have the more money you make.

Lots of click and wait for the number to go up ....
Yes. No despawn so far.
You should rush for a farm and upgrade it to level 2. That's the coins source.
This is the worst tip of them all. Expanding the warehouse is crucial to reducing material management time. Money is made quite easily by exploring ruins or hunting -> cooking meat -> selling hides/leather and food.
Its fun to build...I gone a bit crazy...I have 9 lvl 2 farms now... and I have 102.000k "in the bank" ^_^

Sometimes they get stuck in the hunt stands too.
Which is better? Selling Stolen Goods after you've reached 50% Reputation in a district, OR trying to keep advancing reputation towards 100%?
Folks - please don't waste coins on repair kits in the early stages of the game. Making new items is a better use of your resources and coins. A new copper axe or pick will last longer than the +100 durability the repair kit provides. Same goes for the next tier, an iron axe or pick isn't worth repairing since a new one costs LESS resources and coins than the second tier repair kit and again the repair kit adds a set amount of durability but the new item has more max durability than the kit repairs. A new bow will also last longer. I know, I know - upgrades. Well, low tier bows/swords aren't worth upgrading in the first place because the increased damage is minimal. You're far better off just making new ones and once you can craft your own bow strings making a new low tier bow costs you almost nothing.

It's a time sink but one you can avoid. Assign villagers to the hunter profession. Every time you drop by the village take all the meat they gather, cook it, and sell it. Easy money and it doesn't take long - especially if you have a kitchen because you can set it to cook and go do something else. Once you get a farm or two you can simply collect and sell what the farm produces every time you drop by the village and when farms hit level 2+ you will never have to do the hunt/cook or collect/cook time sink loop again. The food the hunters gather can simply be used to keep you and the village stocked up on food.
