Robin Hood - Sherwood Builders

How is the building aspect?
This is on my wishlist mainly for that reason. I love city builders and colony management games. I don't see a lot of information about the building aspect of this, aside it from being in the title of the game.

I understand it has an open world aspect to it, which would be neat to see on a city builder, but could someone elaborate on the building aspect of this game? How does it compare to games like Frostpunk, Banished, or Anno?

Let me know, thanks!

Not a city Builder, more of an RPG with mild survival elements, The town building is very unobtrusive.

Nothing like Frostpunk, different genre.

It is fun though !

It's nothing like that. It's an open world free roaming RPG with a light town-builder mechanic. If you are an RPG fan and don't mind something not-mainstream it's a great 'complete-the-map'-RPG with old fashioned graphics and atmosphere.

The game is not primarily a 'city builder' but there are a selection of pre fab buildings you can place. It's pretty neat but not comparable to a full fledged management game as those you mention.

Well that was not what I expected from a game with Sherwood builders in the title. :P

Perhaps not. But you will build up Sherwood.

It's kind of like the old Isometric city-builders like Pharaoh series back in the day. That's where that comparison ends.

It's okay. The building mechanism is part of the crafting mechanic. You need to build various buildings in order to be able to craft different types of gear. (Weapons, Armor, Potions, etc.)
