i really like the game, old-school touch, the theme works, it's about immersion and i feel like Kevin Costner as Robin Hood
Ah, I do not use a controller so I can't say much on that. What make/model of controller are you using? I may consider my controller when I get home. I'm playing remote at the moment.
Just put a few points into Accuracy, and allow for the drop off (you can also put points into range to lower that)
You also have a "slo mo" button (Y) on controller to make it even easier.
I really like it

I am using a standard Xbox controller. I just do not like playing games with keyboard/mouse (I am a lazy sort that likes to lie back on the sofa playing games!). If you try a controller you will see what I mean immediately.
To the Devs - this really needs looking at, a large percentage of your potential buyers will be using a controller - and at this stage it is unplayable with a controller. Incidentally, this is the *only* issue I have with the game, and I would imagine relatively easy to refine. I hope that this title does well for you - other than the controller issue, this is a good game.
I only use them on racing, platformers, space or older turn based games like ff, and even then, it's not all game long, I regularly switch from controller to mouse.
Fine by me. I plan to pretty much bow everything anyway. When I sopped PvP 20 odd years ago due to maps too small for true sniping, I traded my sniper rifle for a bow. When Neverwinter Nights released, I became a true coop player and I despise the thought of PvP now. I love my bow
Anyway - I have my solution. A solution where shooting dem deer has relevant amount of challenge to it - without being frustrating. I booted up my old Steam Controller - mapped the right pad to a mouse - problem solved (for me at least).
I do like this game - and whatever people think in the keyboard vs controller debate - the truth is - a lot of games use controllers, and if they do not find a solution, they will be posting negative reviews based on their negative experience - due to the janky implementation of controller support .
