Is there any way to buy wire from a merchant? As far as I remember I sold spare amount of it, but now I need to upgrade a building.

its quite common drop from enemy camps.

Same problem here. One dev answered me and said the next patch brings it to the merchants.

thanks I will stop playing until the patch is out since Without wire I can not progress anymore of my buildings upgrades as I have done all i can with them.

I just need one more wire, damn it. I think the wire is a bit too much, sturdy bow string and regular bow string is enough IMO.

You can buy wire at the Hunter trader just south of Lindone Castle

In Roche Abby in South Sherwood Forest, once you clear it and can trade with some of the monks, one (has a cross hair icon) sells wire for 244 gold ea. He also sells many meats, bear hide, boar hide, wolf hide, and dow hide.

I found some wire. There's two places you can buy it. One is from a monk at Roche Abbey and the other is from one of the traders in Conisbrough.
