The Bloodline

The Bloodline

How do I keep my save?
So, I don't have this game in my C drive, it's all set to download into my d drive, so I figured that I could follow the same steps and just move my save to the front of The Bloodline files through steamapps etc... But that didn't work. And under users in C drive I don't have The Bloodline listed anywhere, so I can't put this into something there, and tbh I don't want to copy the game and move it to C drive to keep a save.

So, any fix potentially?

Idk which OS you're on, but with all versions of Windows, you have to enable hidden folders to view AppData. On Win11 to enable that, go into your file explorer and click the three dots in the top of the window, then click options. Click the "View" tab and there will be an option called "Hidden Files and Folders," just tick the bubble that says "Show hidden files, folders and drives." Win 10 is similar, but the wording is different to get into Explorer's properties.

After enabling hidden folders, go into the searchbar and type %appdata% and hit enter, it'll bring you into the roaming sub-folder. You can then just click the AppData portion in the file path and get to Local that way,

When you say you looked in C:\Users is that as far as you looked?

Get save files from "steamapps -> common -> TheBloodline -> Build5.51 -> WindowsNoEditor -> TheBloodline -> Content -> Saved -> SaveGames".

Move them into: “Windows(C:) -> (username) -> AppData -> Local -> TheBloodline -> Saved -> SaveGames”.

I don't have a Username specific file, I have users, and I don't have AppData, I have Apps. There is nothing with Local in there, nor anything mentioning TheBloodline, I only have all of Steam saved in my D drive because I don't have that large of a C drive to save any games into.

Is your User AppData hidden?

Yeah, that's Windows which hides the Appdata folder by default. I've never understood why it does that because it's a damn nuisance. It's easy enough to make it visible. If you've never done it before just Google it.

My bad for not replying, but either way, I played until I was close to the other save I had to make since my first 1 failed me lol. But yeah, that got me there, but it seems to be what I figured, unless I can just create a file that says TheBloodline and add the saves there, instead of putting the entire game in the C drive I'll just continue playing on the current save that I just created last night.
