Grimclaw Event hints

Easy to miss aegis eggs:

There's three in the palace of flowers (one at the top of the tower via elevator)
One on the tree behind the grimclaw cave (and one further back)
None at the purification tower (so don't scour it like i did)
One in the tipping tower
A bunch on the old druid grounds or area with wooden bridges (check the lower area with goblins as well), there's even one on the tree on top of a small hill with rock steps leading to it and on the walled tree
Two at Mun Dorul
One at an orc encampment

After collecting 30 eggs, when I go in with the last of them I get a quest completion but the exit is then buried in a cave-in and Grimclaw attacks and kills me! I did this before with my first character and had no problems at all--got the completion and the companion...what happened?

Finally gamed the quest by going to the Overworld after entering Grim's lair and getting a quest completion. He was killing me because I had no eggs for him, having given all 30 previously. Then upon returning, I interacted with the egg basket and got the "companion earned" message...
There was a patch that sorta fixed the quest, but seems to be still a bit buggy...

Thankfully, I managed to complete the quest without adverse events happening. was one of the more enjoyable quests I've experienced so far. I actually delivered 25 the first time I visited the cave and got the companion, which I used to find the last 5 eggs.

I got the Companion but cant find the last two eggs... i visit all the places you guys mentioned i think iam going crazy or iam bilnd

Edit: Found them near the Purification Tower in a place called The Site of Reverance (there is a small pond with many fishing spots)
