Skill Issue.
Might be a skill issue of a skill issue. But the fact you get such limited slots for your skills and they are put on the numbers when you're already using the wasd to move around makes them kinda cumbersome. I mean those types of skills work well for games where movement can be managed with the mouse alone - but I don't know that you can fully control your character with the mouse alone.

That's probably my biggest gripe - it would be nice if they could be rebound to other spaces but there is no rebinding for the skill slots.

I really like the grappling hook and the variety of skills and things to customize your play with.

On another note, it would be nice if it had weapon specific skills, like when you switch between melee to ranged it has a different skill list ready for you so you don't have to switch it yourself.

Hello. Do you mean the hotbar slots at the bottom of the middle screen? There is the left and right side hotbars. You can put all related spells like on the right side hotbar and all melee/range type at the bottom hotbar. And keep consumable related to the left side hotbar.

But it would be nice to have option to add more hotbar like in some games. If you need help with that, let me know.

if I understood correctly, the dev is planning to add customizable sets of hotkey slots, so you should be able to have multiple "builds" of different skills you could then change whenever you need (for example, having mostly bow skills on one set, and then another one thats used for spear skills, and so on), and that should help, at least to a degree.
He's not planning to add more slots to hotkey bars - it seems there were 10 slots in each bar in the beginning, but that majority of testers/ players said it was problem using any skill you have put on numbers from 6 to 0.

And more keybinding/ rebinding possibilities are definitely planned and being worked on, so maybe for this also, it just takes time.

Sample size of one, but I also would like an expanded hotbar.
2 sets of eight would be almost as good as 2 sets of 10.
Hello. Having the option to add multiple hotbars would be nice. For now this is what I have on my screen (couldn't take screenshot of the right side hotbar for some reason).

Again would be nice to have a hotbar for melee and one for range/bow type. Another hotbar somewhere on the screen (if we are able to customized where we put our hotbars), for additional spells or consumable items or similar.

Anyways, this is my setup for now.

This. I'm necromancer and need to be able to bind keys to mouse because reaching my poor painful arthritic left hand up to the number keys to keep casting has made me stop playing this game for now.

The awkward way clicking skills on the hotbar doesn't really work for me either, because then I have to keep changing back to get the cursor off the screen to pan around again. Isn't really user friendly when kiting enemies, running around and trying to cast at the same time, etc.

Is fun game otherwise. Will come back when can remap keys where I want.
