114. They are, but true, they don't (always) spawn in all the places you would expect. The best bet is that graveyard that even Charles mentions, I believe? Wolfdover timberland, if I remember (the name) correctly. They always spawn in sufficient quantities there, around the graves...
115. Self-created potions, that have the same name and same stats and same affixes, do not stack together. I have literally like 200 x1 potion stacks for a potion I created that has all the same features and the same name. Very inconvenient design.
116. Where the heck do you find Mining Picks? You need 5 for the stronghold quarry, and I've only found 1 by sheer luck in a Goblin Camp crate.
117. While exploring elderglen, found a few structures with doors that can't be interacted with, but also several buildings sunken into the ground.
118. Have a calender event about the duke in elderglen getting sick, but haven't figured out any way to actually reach him as the big structures aren't climbable and the doors aren't interactable.
119. Many of my self-crafted potions lack any description for them. I created a potion called Holy Stamina that restores stamina 50 points and blesses the ground for 30 seconds. But the stamina is there, but not the blesses the ground.
Some are even worse, with the only description literally a colon ( : ). Like my self created foragers leap which is supposed to increase jump and foraging skill xp, but all it has is a : for its description and trying to sell it, has no description either.
120. Francis Beufort is a tradesman in Elderglen, but is easily missed. Most of his gear has typos in it and armor listed as light, when the description says its heavy platemail.
Also he doesn't stock any legguards or skirts. So I'm still using my studded skirt.
121. Some armor with it listed as "light" isn't "light" and significantly slows down my character.
122. Got a quest from the church to deliver bread to 6 beggars. There isn't 6 beggars in elderglen. Also, if you give any of the beggars a coin before accepting the quest, you can't hand out bread to them.
123. Wearing even one piece of heavy armor, results in massive slowdown of the character. Like I finally found a pauldron for shoulder slot, and wore it and lost over 50% of my movement speed and jump height. So I'm back to no shoulder item...
124. The search function in the inventory is pretty broken. I had 2 Leather Boots in my inventory. Searching for "boot" "Boot" "boots" "Boots" comes up with nothing. But searching for "leath" finds them instantly. So I think it can only search for items that has the letters in the first word of the item, and not the second item.
125. The engineer quest for 101 in Elderglen, asks you to make 5 explosive grenades. Problem is the amount of blastpowder created in the previous quest from them, isn't sufficient to create the five grenades, as they require 3 blastpowder per grenade and you'd only make 10 blastpowder from the previous quest. When you need 15.
126. If you use a portal stone to teleport to a major city, and then hit overworld map, it will take you to where you used the portal stone originally. So I had used a portal stone at the Stronghold, to Elderglen, then went overworld at Elderglen... and I'm back at the stronghold.
127. If you use Last Rites to heal yourself to maximum life, it has a black portion of the health bar visible, as if you are damaged, when you aren't.
128. After you cast Last Rites, the game unsheathes your weapon, if it was sheathed.
129. Increasing ragdoll, has an inverse relationship. I take more damage from ragdolling, the higher my ragdoll.
130. I've talked to a ton of people, and have never increased Speechcraft.
131. It is very hard to unlock certain cooking recipes. Like I know that salted meat is a thing, but combining meat and salt in the cooking interface hasn't produced the recipe yet. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Similarly, there is a ton of fish that don't even get recipes, and not sure what to do with them.
132. It is very hard to acquire Slime Ingots. Each killed slime has a 50% chance to drop a slime block, and you need 5 of them to make one ingot. Then for most slimemetal recipes, you need like 5+ ingots. And slimes do not spawn in large numbers unlike bandits or goblins, so its really hard to produce any item requiring slimemetal ingots.
133. Finally found Khenmoore Woods. Its a subsection of Khenmoore Plains. Which is a weird way to do things, as even Lionsmane quests tell you to go to Khenmoore Woods.
134. The quest for the ghost amulet, indicates in general to search the dwarven facility. I assumed that meant take the elevator and explore the caves, but apparently not. It would have been better if the star indicator for the quest was on the body, as the description for it is too vague.
135. Lots of buildings in Khenmoore Woods have nothing in them. Most problematic is the two giant towers (Palace of Flowers and Purification Facility).
136. Why was the ghost lady making a pilgramage to Millshade from Khenmoore Woods? It took me 4 days of walking to just reach it from the Stronghold (mostly because the game couldn't figure out how to cross the rivers). It seems like a very far / out of the way place to come from, when the main church is in Elderglen. Unless Millshade was originally at some point nearer to Khenmoore woods early in development.
137. Turning in the quest, it says the amulet is in good hands. There is no amulet in my inventory, after talking with the ghost.
138. Found a pretty rare event, a moonrock meteor. It would be good if the flames reached higher and didn't fade out as much at a distance. Ended up taking 30 minutes to hunt for all the shards of it as a result.
139. Lightning spells in general are terrible. They are low damage, hard to aim, and often requiring holding and aiming to hit. While fire/cold spells deal more damage, are easier to aim, and can be fired instantly.
Like comparing two spells, the mini-meteor and the lightning storm that you charge up (can't remember its name). The mini-meteor hits pretty fast, has good damage and AOE, and ignites targets. The storm is so hard to aim that I often miss-cast it, doesn't hit hard and often doesn't even electrify.
140. Most of the found spells, are pretty bad. Found being, found in the world exploring and grabbing the books. Like summon skeleton doesn't do much damage and requires the skeleton to run up to a target. Poison bolt deals low damage, has low DOT tick rate, and a monstrous 15 second cooldown. Summon hip lantern has such low luminsity that its better to explore in the dark, than use it.
141. It is very difficult to get to molten crag (for miner quest). The auto-movement just doesn't want to path to it, so you have to manually make short paths yourself to get there.
142. All these red slimes drop red slime. Problem is the slimemetal ingots don't accept red slime and no recipe I know of uses red slime in it.
143. When I found the miner, he mentions there is gold in the cave. There is no gold in this cave.
144. Was outside and saw a weird minable node. It apparently gave me bone dust. Anyway, afterwards, a beautiful red sword appeared where the node was, but cannot be grabbed, picked up, run over, or hit. Pity it looks awesome.
145. There is glowing green skeletons in Molten Crag. I figured they'd be like the ones you encounter everywhere else, but they turned out to be hostile. Maybe make them glow a different color, because I totally mistook them for neutral spirits, not super powerful undead.
146. Lootable objects are not very consistent. I've seen a lot of large piles of crates in molten crag that are normally never lootable. Very strange.
147. The giant fortress in molten crag is totally devoid of things of interest. 4 enemies total, and a book on flamewinds.
148. Visiting Velosia. Met a distiller, in a building with no distilling equipment of any kind. Kinda weird.
149. Visited scultors husband in Velosia. He has two medium armor helms with 0 armor. The rest of his armor is weird stats too. Some are heavy and some are light, with no consistency of values. Also, all his weapons deal 25 damage exactly.
150. If you go to sell personally made potions, that are x1 stacks in your inventory, they do stack in the sell window. Pity they are all worth 0 gold.
151. If you cancel a transaction with your personally made potions, you get all these potions in inventory with stack of 0 and all the stats on the potions are gone now.
152. There is a market in Velosia. All the guy/gals are called Shopkeeper. Clicking on show me what you have, results in nothing happening.
153. Many of the questgivers in Velosia lacks the tell-tale sign that they have a quest to give. Like the Librarian in the Library of Velosia.
154. The tavern in Velosia, lacks a tavernkeeper.
155. The Lionsmane hall in Velosia, lacks Lionsmane members. But at least there is a contract board here.
156. The Three Sisters place near Eldersglen is the ONLY place I've seen Jump XP orbs. Not that they help me much, being that I'm Jump rank 32, and need over 4000 xp to my next rank, and each orb only gives 20 xp.
157. If you talk to the dwarf in the prison, in Velosia, it doesn't update the quest on locations where you can find condensed magma.
158. The Necropolis is a cool place to visit, but it has several problems. 1) Undead respawn frequently and in large numbers. 2) The altars have bad hitboxes and are difficult to hit and destroy. 3) The chanting green skeletons are invulnerable so you can't complete the quest in the area.
159. Feathered Friends shop in Woodhurst, has no shopkeeper inside.
160. Fly Agaric and Gloombroom mushrooms have the same icon in inventory. Often I mix them up when I go to craft potions, and as they have very different effects, its pretty important to not mix them up.
161. For some reason, Shrinkshroom is obscenely expensive to buy or sell at 150 gold a piece. And its not that great a potion ingredient either.
162. I have potioncraft level 6, but whenever I open up the alchemy interface it says I don't possess the level 5 slot on the far right. However, if I put an ingredient in anywhere, it does unlock it.
163. Pebblestep Crypt is devoid of loot or interactables. 4 enemies total spotted.
164. Have multiple quests at Wolfden Priory, but no quest markers.
165. I've killed like 6 bears at Wolfen Priory and not a single one has dropped any loot.
166. Wild boars drop no loot. Not even pork meat. Maybe its a bug with Wolfden Priory...
167. You earn no gold or xp, but at least you do get the Woodcutting Harness, by completing the quest in Woodhurst.
For the dev, as in singular, only one guy.
And yeah, it's nice to have such a list in one place, although a number of these are not bugs, just unimplemented and unfinished locations and such, and many points are well known... Freshly out early access game and all that. Posts like these still help, of course.
Like #159. Maybe the Feathered Friends NPC does get spawned in, but gets spawned in a random building nearby (didn't check thoroughly).
So, to be just thorough I mention it alongside the other actual bugs/issues, in case the situation is a minor oversight. Which happens a lot in large open world games.
168. Hills of Delveneugh, definitely feels unfinished and likely is. Some notes though:
-> Extreme scarcity of foes, trees, and ingredients to grab.
-> The lone tower in the distance is completely empty.
-> The huge fortress has some undead and some lootables. However, the highest point of the structure can only be reached by climbing, as the staircase in the library leads to a complete deadend.
-> There is a giant stone circle that looks like it should be important for druidic magic, but isn't.
169. I've noticed that to raise Arcane, you must use combat spells. Using healing or last rites doesn't increase your spell knowledge.
170. Whether it is an issue with Hill Giants in general, but in Hills of Delveneugh, they don't drop any loot.
171. Quest in Hills of Delveneugh to kill all the trolls of the region. Except the trolls are Hill Giants. Bit confusing on the naming.
172. Many edibles don't heal for what they say they do. The most eyebrow raising is the Muffin, that says it heals 15, but then in its description it says it heals 100.
173. Have not ever gotten any healing from eating Garlic Bread. Or is it Honey Bread?
174. The items in Golden Loom (Arema) are overall weaker and more expensive than the stuff in Elderglen. Yet, Arema is quite a bit out of the way.
175. The items in Firesmith (Arema) have like 7 medium helms all 0 protection, and a bunch of other items that are less powerful and more expensive than the stuff in Elderglen.
176. Completing the quest Stage Fright, in Arema, netted me 0 xp and 0 gold.
177. If you are on a quest for the goblin shopkeeper in Arema, you cannot buy their goods until you complete all their quests.
178. I know this is a bit of a nitpick but... I'm underground with no access to the surface... WHY IS THERE CROW DOWN HERE?
179. In Gin Badur's cave (Whitebrook). At the back of the cave there is a "press E to exit" which kicks you to main map. First cave I've found that had this.
180. Have several quests in Whitebrook Haven, but no quest markers are showing up.
181. Kick back spell, has you sit down and instantly stand back up. Found at Whitebrook Haven. How about instead you stay down for 10-15 seconds and hitting e causes you to get up prematurely. Might also be nice if health/mana/stamina all regenerated faster by +2 to +5 points, to make using it as a useful addition rather than just a joke spell.
182. Moonhorn Cliffs has these berry foraging bushes, that I've not seen anywhere else in the game.
183. Chickens don't drop feathers, only crows do.
184. I visited Moonhorn Cliffs because the Calendar said it would have enhanced fishing spots. There are no fishing spots here, not even at the lake at the end of the waterfall.
185. There is a druid stone thing in Moonhorn Cliffs, but it doesn't react to the druid spell that lets you attune to it. Lame.
186. Astral Aerie Observatory in Moonhorn Cliffs has nothing really going on with it. No NPCs, limited loot containers, and nothing else. But boy was it a pain to climb up to.
187. I have a quest in Arema to go to Ravenwatch to resolve a grain supply problem. I can't find it anywhere. Unless its way to the north and thus no where near Arema...
188. Khennmore is fairly WIP and all the townsfolk refer to it as Elderglen, when asking about the city.
189. Khennmore lacks a bounty board. First major town lacking one. EDIT: Turns out it has one, but its out of the way and not easily visible.
190. First Impressions (in Khennmore) quest asks us to get 5 Rose Daisies (red flowers). Then when I deliver the envelope to the woman she says that her favorite flower is Love Me Not flowers (white flowers).
191. The woman in First Impressions says she wishes he'd get rid of the beard. We don't mention that to the man when we turn the quest in to them.
192. Restocking the Dear Leaf in Khennmore asks us to deliver 3 Sapphires. I haven't even seen one drop or found a mining node to produce it, so where am I supposed to get them?
193. There is a market by the Jolly Harpy in Khennmore. None of the shops work, except travelling wizard who sells one thing. Even the Jolly Harpy doesn't work. There is an empty stall next to the travelling wizard.
194. Nearby there is a house up a hill, by a huge wooden door. There is a guy visible through a window, standing at a desk. The door to the house says "E" to interact, but the door doesn't open.
195. The Armorer in Khennmore appears to have the best heavy armor in the game, but also the costliest. Pity I didn't find them sooner, as by now I'm pretty heavily invested in spellcasting and given up on melee combat. Also has a 0 armor medium helmet.
196. Valentia Cioma (or w/e) in Khennmore is listed as a Jeweler, but they sell archery goods in an archery store.
I found them very easily outside the crypt on the island, and at the graveyard in wolfdover.
Not sure this is an issue, as there's so much loot and merchants have infinite money. Mechanics such as this are meant to be a bargain, to add extra challenge, not a freebie. Given how much money there is in the game this is a trivial challenge. If you're struggling for money, sell you loot.
Yes they do. I found heaps at Steps of Esros before I even knew mining was in the game.
To add to this note - I've visited woodcutting hotspots that only had 3-4 lootable trees.
This hasn't happened for me. They just tell me they don't have any rumours.
In case you're still looking: Khenmore Woods is called Khenmore Flats. (or maybe flatlands - I can't remember.)
They're challenging but far from impossible. Given the scarcity of real challenges in this game so far, it would be a shame if these guys got nerfed. There are way to make these guys a lot easier but one of them is a bit of a spoiler:
There is a witch's hut in Wolfdover Timberland that has a broomstick mount.
