where do i find ethereal oil

i cant find it anywhere and i need it to complete the necromancers shrine plz help maybe i missed something

in the necropolis there is a mission as soon as you enter to help the wisp usually drop the oil after helping each wisp

I've ransacked the necropolis to the best of my ability and wasn't able to find any missions except destroying bone altars and stopping a soul well ritual. Is there something that's changed in the latest update for this item drop?

It's the orbs you pick up. They light a direction to the corresponding body. The drop rate is kinda small though. Usually you just get bones.

There is a small cheese you can do, if you immediately get on your flying broom stick as you enter the zone, fly to the first grey arrow you see in the sky (indicating the orbs to pickup) This is actually in the 2nd part of the zone which doesn't load in until you open the middle doors. All of the orbs there are just floating on a platform in the sky. Pick up all 6 at once, fly back to first zone, they just fly to all of the corpses and you have the correct orbs.

This only saves a little time. Ultimately if you want 15 of the oil this will probably take 3-5 runs depending on the RNG drop rate.

I'm actually on my 5th run now and only have 10. The first few runs I did legitimately, drop rate is just so poor. I only got 1 on my last run.

If you build the village outside of your castle there is a board that shows you the village status. I current have all the build except for the necro one as i still need more oils for it. As your village goes about its daily business you get stuff from the business and buildings. I have found some ethereal oil in the reward area on this status board, I have no idea which building is producing it for me but one them is.
