I mean, you can climb, wall jump, wall run, use a grapling, to climb, slow your fall, or even propel you across a chasm.
There is gore and dismemberment. Tons of skills and spells, Every actions you do has proficiency and gives some XP. There are Random events, some having a lasting impact on the game world.
Also I don't know other games that allows you to drop a freaking physical metor from the sky on your ennemies head. And by physical, I mean that's a real boulder that will persist in the ground until you leave the area.
You ever had that notion of jumping off the highest place because you did it that one time in assassins creed? Dude PLANNED for that impulse as I just discovered and you unlock a secret spell from it. LOVE IT.
You can swing like spiderman, you can wall run, you can climb any surface.
You can wall run, grapple swing, wall run again, then summon a cloud to float you to the ground.
you can turn into multiple bird forms as a druid and fly all over and speed run into enemies killing them with physics. Mounted combat is here and actually very well done. Tons of skill. 100s. Archery is good. 2 handed swords feel so meaty and go so well with the paladin tree. Unarmed, though I haven't tried it looks SO FUN. Quests all over the place, Planned events you can see on a calendar or never look at it and be surprised when you go back to the gentle pretty forest and find it covered in death fog with 100s of zombies all over the place, but no worries because ♥♥♥♥♥ Im a paladin and banishing the undead is my bread and butter. So spend 20 minutes doing that and gaining all that sweet sweet divine favor.
Bless sad souls.
Spear goblins with holy javelins.
Call down golden swords.
Become a barbarian.
Tame a rabbit.
Ride in a mechanized barrel car.
Enchant a chair with bat wings and fly off into the sunset.
It's every weird and wonderful thing I've ever wanted with a shiny RPG coating.
and its $20. How do you beat that??? I paid 70 for starfield and have barely played it because bethesda is so damn boring now with all the safety feature crap. I love it here.
still this game have biiiiig gameplay.. craploud of skills and things to do... its a true huge world sandbox game... where you free to do anything...
if you like craftopia and those types of games.. this is perfect for you...
Ahahahahahaha... no, seriously... Ahahahahahahaha. Anyway, that's as much as I'm saying about low-effort cashgrab. Well, no, NOW it's as much as I'm saying as Starfield.
Meanwhile Baldur's gate will let me stab anyone that looks at me sideways and has replacement NPC's FOR THEIR REPLACEMENT NPCS. You can kill tieflings in the grove. And new tieflings will show up to the tiefling party. And if you kill THOSE tieflings, then OTHER tieflings will show up that were "out scouting". Now that's game design. Meanwhile a pirate on starfield says "Watch your back, Im coming for you" So I shoot him in the face and nothing happens. He's protected, no one reacts. Stopped playing right there. So boring.
